Eligibility
Non-Chinese citizen, healthy, without any criminal records, aged less than 40 years old; with an excellent academic record of the master, and potentially to be a highly specialized researcher, engineer or professional; rich in publication.
For the program taught in Chinese, applicants should be HSK level 5 (scored over 210). Applicants with HSK Level 4 can apply for the preparatory program. For EMI programs, applicants should be at least IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 90, or previous degree study taught in English.

Application
The applicant can apply all year round, while the intake only in March and September each year.

Application documents include

1. Full CV and working experience certificates.
2. The degree certificates and transcripts of all tertiary studies; the certificate of current study and examination results for a current student.
3. The statement of research interest and research proposal. In general, a statement of research interest should include reasons for undertaking this study at ZZU and future career prospects, while a research proposal should include the background, the objectives and the methodology or approach you propose to take in studying the subject matter. The minimum word limit for the proposal is 2000. Proper referencing is needed in the preparation of research proposals. Applicants are strongly suggested to contact their potential supervisor to discuss the research proposal before submission. The result of the plagiarism check will be taken into consideration when the Department, Faculty and Graduate School review the application. The application may be deemed unsuccessful if plagiarized materials are identified.
4. Two academic referee letters. You should invite two academics who are familiar with your academic achievements to write recommendation letters.
5. Official score report of HSK, TOEFL, IELTS or other language proficiency tests.
6. Physical Examination Record and No Criminal Record Certificate. They are valid only in 6 months. Please update them before the deadline of application and make sure they are still valid when you apply for visa.
7. The list of publications and the soft copy of the master thesis and best publications.
8. Other documents, documentary evidence of academic awards and professional qualifications, and summary of relevant experience.

2021 CSC- Xi’an JiaoTong University Scholarship

Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), established in 1896, is the national key university directly administered by the Ministry of Education of China. It is the top 10 Research University in China and a member of China’s Ivy League --- C9 League. It was ranked No. 303 on the list of QS World University Rankings 2020.

CSC-Chinese University Program
A waiver of tuition fee, Free on-campus dormitory accommodation, Monthly living allowance, Comprehensive Medical Insurance for International Students in China.
It only supports master’s students for no more than 3 academic years or doctoral students for no more than 4 academic years, and it covers both major study and Chinese language/preparatory study, as specified in the Admission Letter.

8. A Study Plan or Research Proposal

Chinese-taught programs: Report of HSK 4 180 points and above. Other language proficiency certificate is also acceptable upon approved by XJTU. Some programs require HSK5 180 points (find at Programs List )

MBBS Program at Tongji University

Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a full-time six-year English-taught program for international students. The main courses include human anatomy, histoembryology, physiology, cytology and biochemistry, medical genetics, immunology, pathogenic biology, pathology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, diagnostics, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, traditional Chinese medicine, psychiatry, etc. Please refer to Appendix for a general idea of the course arrangement, and the specific arrangement should be based on the curriculum of the year of enrollment.

3. High school graduation certificate or certificate of expected graduation issued by senior high school (for applicants who will be graduating from senior high school before July only). Senior high school diploma is required to be verified and notarized documents must be submitted at the registration, if the student is admitted. If the certificate is not in Chinese or English, the original notarized translated versions must be submitted. (☆ The certificate should be notarized by local Chinese Embassy or local Chinese Consulates or foreign embassies or consulates in China).
4. Original or notarized transcript of senior high school. If the transcript is not in Chinese or English, the original notarized translated versions must be submitted. 5. Copy of English proficiency certificate: IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL IBT 85 or above. The original certificate is required to be submitted at the registration, if the student is admitted. (☆Applicants who are native English-speakers or have studied in English-medium high schools are not required to submit English proficiency certificates.

Application and Admission Procedure

1. Complete the Tongji Online Application procedure at the website http://study-info.tongji.edu.cn. You MUST submit all application materials online.
2. Pay the application fee by bank transfer and submit the photocopy of transfer voucher with other documents or pay it directly through the Tongji Online Application system.
3. After the online review of documents is approved, the applicant will be informed to participate in the admission interview.
4. Attend the admission interview (offline or online) organized by the school of medicine, and the interview results will be sent by email within one week after the interview.
5. After the admission interview is passed, the applicant will be informed to submit the paper application materials to the International Student Office of Tongji University (it can be submitted in person or entrusted by others, or mailed). Application materials should be received before deadline, otherwise it will be considered as a waiver of application.
6. Applicants who have passed the documents review, the admission interview, and Tongji University School of Medicine verified the correctness of the paper application materials will be officially admitted. The applicants will receive a pre-admission email and be asked to pay the admission deposit. The application status of the applicant in the online system will be changed to “enrolled” accordingly.
7. The Admission Notice and Visa Application Form (JW202) will be posted to the applicant’s contact address or fetched in person later.

8. Scholarship at the entrance: The newly-admitted students will be offered the MBBS entry scholarship (one-off payment of 10% of the first-year tuition) if they have met the following requirements： 1) receive the offer before July 15, 2021, 2) submit a certain admission deposit before July 30, 2021, 3) register on the specified date at the beginning of September as per the admission notice.

Jinzhou Medical University Admission

Jinzhou Medical University ( JZMU ) currently has over 12000 on-campus students, admitting students nationally from 30 provinces,  autonomous regions, and municipalities. MBBS in Dalian Medical University

The MBBS program for international students in DLMEDU was set in 2004, and in 2007 the MOE declared it as the qualified university to offer English-taught MBBS program. This program is open in each spring and autumn, with the same duration and tuition fee. Besides, it can be taught in English and Japanese on students’ choice. According to the framework agreement on degree accreditation between MOE of China and other countries, the degree awarded by DLMEDU is recognized in 31 countries.
