Terms and Conditions:

1. Age requirements:
   Bachelor’s degree applicants: under 25 years
   Master’s degree applicants: under 30 years
   Doctoral degree applicants: under 40 years
2. The living stipend mentioned is CNY 5000 for the first year, which will be deposited to students’ bank accounts according to attendance.
3. For master’s degree and doctoral degree programs, the scholarship will be renewed once a year after an annual evaluation of the student’s performance (awarded scholarship from the second year may increase or decrease according to evaluation points).
4. Transferring of major by bachelor students who availed JSU Presidential Scholarship in the first year shall be approved only after the student compensates the scholarship amount back to the university.
5. JSU Presidential Scholarship graduate students who apply to quit JSU should compensate the scholarship amount back to the university before leaving.

3. Chinese Language test report (HSK) for Chinese-taught programs and English language test report e.g., IELTS or TOEFL for English-taught programs;
4. A study or research proposal for postgraduate applicants (written in Chinese or English and no less than 800 words);
5. Two letters of recommendation from full professors or associate professors in Chinese or English (applicable to Master's and doctoral applicants and professors' signature, contact phone number, and email address must be put on the letter.);
6. Published academic papers or other academic achievements (if applicable).
7. The acceptance letter was written by supervisors (applicable to Master and Doctoral programs)
8. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. The medical examination results will be valid for six months. All applicants are kindly requested to consider this factor as they plan to take the medical examination.
