Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:
(1) be a citizen of a country other than the PRC and in good health both mentally and physically;
(2) be an academically excellent holder of a high school diploma or its equivalent under the age of 25;
(3) have TOEFL results not lower than 85 or IELTS results not lower than 6.0.
Fees and Charges
(1) Application fee: 600 RMB (Nonrefundable).
(2) Accommodation fee: 600 RMB/bed/month (Double room) / 300 RMB/ month (Quad room) ; the students are responsible for water and power.

1) Free university dormitory is only provided in quadruple rooms. If you apply for a double or single room, you should pay the accommodation fee for the new room type. The fees for a quadruple room can not be deducted from the price of the new room type. Off-campus accommodation is not allowed.
2) According to the application documents, the Admission Office of the School of International Education (SIE) will grant the applicants the scholarship. International students must do the Scholarship Annual Review from the second academic year. Based on the Scholarship Annual Review results, the Management Office will determine the scholarship. The students who break the law or regulations will have their scholarships suspended or canceled following the policy.

Application Documents
(1) A scanned copy of the Passport Information Page.
(2) Diploma and certificate of highest education (notarized photocopy). An applicant who is a current student shall submit the certificate of expected graduation or student status.
(3) Academic transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English shall be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
(4) Certificate of language proficiency. An applicant shall provide his/her IELTS or TOEFL test report or instruction language certificate.
(5) An applicant shall submit a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form (the original document, printed by Chinese quarantine authorities, shall be filled in in English and kept by the applicant). The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the attending physician’s signature, the hospital’s official stamp, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Medical examination results are valid for only six months;
(6) An applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record (or Police Clearance Certificate) issued by the local public security (such as the police station), usually issued within six months before the submission date of the application;
(7) Financial report.

(7) An applicant shall submit a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form .
The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician,
the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are invalid. Medical examination results are valid for only six months;
(8) An applicant shall submit a valid Certificate of Non-Criminal Record (or Police Clearance Certificate) issued by the local public security (such as the police station), usually issued within six months prior to the submission date of the application;
(9) Financial report.
