2019 ZNU Scholarship for International Students

University Scholarships for Bachelor Program is launched to attract more outstanding students to study in China, create a favorable and international cultural environment for the campus, continuously improve the university’s international reputation, and encourage international students to work hard and get well-rounded.

Scholarship in Bachelor Programs for up to 4 years
Location: Jinhua, Zhejiang (Near Yiwu business city)

Bachelor Programs

1) Environmental Science and Engineering
2) Curriculum of Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering
3) Transportation
4) Biotechnology
5) Financial Management
6) Business Administration
7) International Economics & Trade
8) Electronic and Information Engineering
9) Computer Science and Technology

Tuition Fees: 18,000 RMB/Year
Insurance: 800 RMB/Year
Dorm: 4500 RMB/Year
(Student may live off-campus, which will cost 4000-7000 RMB/Year)

Scholarship Coverage

Type A: 22,000 RMB
Type B: 9,000 RMB
Note: Annual review is needed to renew the scholarship

Application Documents

1. Applicant’s photo and passport copy
2. Copy of visa (If applicants are living in China)
3. Copy of your notarized high school diploma
4. Copy of your high school academic transcripts
5. Language proficiency certificate: Applicants who apply for Chinese-taught programs should submit HSK 4 or higher certification; applicants who apply for English-taught programs should submit TOEFL results with a score above 80 or IELTS results with a score above 5.5;
6. Foreigner physical examination form (valid for six months)
7. Police Certificate
8. Bank Statement: to prove that the applicant has sufficient funds to cover their tuition, accommodation, living expenses, and international travels during their study in China. Only applicant or their family can act as financial sponsors.
9. Study plan: No less than 1000 words, applicants who apply for an English-taught program should write the plan in English, and applicants who apply for a Chinese-taught program should write in Chinese.
10. Transfer letter: applicants already studying in other universities in China should submit.
11. Other supporting documents: paper published, volunteering certificates, etc.

Eligibility

1. Applicant should be aged between 18 and 30;
2. Applicant should be non-Chinese citizens with valid regular foreign passports and be friendly to China;
3. Applicant should hold a high school diploma with a satisfactory academic record;
4. Language requirement: an applicant who applies for Chinese-taught programs should have HSK 4 certificate or above; applicants who apply for English-taught programs should have a TOEFL score above 80 or IELTS score above 5.5;
5. Applicant should have no criminal record and no drug addiction history;
6. Applicant should be in good health and have no serious infectious diseases.
