As a key university in Shanghai, Shanghai Normal University （SHNU） is a comprehensive local university with salient features of teacher training and particular strength in liberal arts. There are more than 40,000 students in SHNU, including 21,903 undergraduates, 4,255 postgraduates and doctoral students, more than 2000 overseas students, and 15,000 evening university students.
