Founded in 1901, Shandong University is a key comprehensive university under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China and a member university of Project 211 and Project 985, two national key construction projects to support the development of high-quality universities. Its main campus is located in Jinan, the capital of ShandongProvince and two branch campuses in Weihai and Qingdao. Shandong University, Weihai is located inWeihai, a beautiful costal city in eastern Shandong Province.Shandong University, Weihai has 10 schools and 2 teaching departments, spanning 7 general disciplines, namely, Literature, Art, Law, Economics, Management Science and Engineering, and offering45 Bachelor’s Degree Programs, 59 Master’s Degree Programs, 18 Doctoral Degree Programs. The University has established a multi-level educational system to cultivate PhD students, master student, undergraduate students and international students. 13,900 undergraduate students, 960 PhD and master students, nearly 500 international students. The number of faculty and staff is over 1200, including 404 professors and associate professors and 215 PhD and master students’ supervisors.
