Hohai University, established in 1915, is a state key university under the direct administration of Ministry of Education of China. It is a comprehensive university with research and study of water conservancy as its main focus, education of engineering subjects as its first priority, and coordinated development of many disciplines covering engineering, science, economics, management, liberal arts, and law. It is also among the group of universities to benefit from Project 211. Located in Nanjing, the capital city of ancient China, Hohai University includes other two beautiful campuses, Changzhou and Jiangning. Hohai University is an ideal place to study with its beautiful scenery and tree-lined campus. Hohai University is one of the first universities in China qualified to award bachelor, master and doctor degrees to international students. Thousands of international students from over 90 countries in Africa, Asia, America, Europe, and Oceania have completed their studies at Hohai University. To encourage high-caliber international students to study at Hohai, the University established Hohai Scholarship for International Students in 2005.
