Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(AHUTCM) is a multidisciplinary higher institution with traditional Chinese medicine science as its focus; it also touches the fields of technology, engineering, management and economics. The University has become a major base for the higher education of traditional Chinese medicine, medical service and scientific research in Anhui province.
It has 7 schools offering 3 key courses of the provincial level, 1 key course of the national level,18 Master’s degree-awarding spots,4 bases for cultivating the doctoral students cooperating with other medical universities, 6 hi-tech TCM research institutes, 2 key laboratories of the provincial level, 2 affiliated hospitals of the provincial level,1 TCM clinic and 1 hospital specialized in the combination of Chinese and Western medicine. It has 22 majors leading to a Bachelor’s degree, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture, Osteology, Rehabilitation and Nursing.
