Liaoning Shihua University is the first petroleum institute in China. It was founded in the year of 1950. The university is a multi-disciplinary one with petroleum and petro-chemistry as its distinctive features.At present, Liaoning Shihua University has more than 25000 students of different levels whose campus covers an area of over 130 hectare.In 2010, Liaoning Provincial Government, China National Petroleum Corporation, Sinopec Group and China National Offshore Oil Corporation came into agreement to commonly build up our university, which brings about new opportunity and provides new platform.The education for overseas students of Liaoning Shihua University started from 1985 and has enrolled more than 2000 students.
